Restrict areas of your website to customers who are logged in or belong to specific a customer group.

All of the areas can be restricted independently, and you can also independently specify which customer groups have access to them.
Restricts the search results (both from simple and advanced searches) and all the categories. Please note that customers can still see your categories, but will be unable to view any products in them.
Restricts the checkout area.
This will hide all the prices in catalog searches / category views and on the product details pages.
Restricts the shopping cart and hides all the Add to Cart buttons (both from the catalog searches / category views and from the product details pages). It will also remove the Sidebar Cart.

Magento version 1.0
The stylesheet included in the extension isn't loaded properly in version 1.0 of Magento. There's however a fix, which will have to be applied manually after the installation which sorts out this problem, it's described in chapter 2.2 of the user manual.
The sidebar cart isn't hidden everywhere in Magento version 1.0 when the Shopping Cart is restricted. This is due to a bug in version 1.0 of Magento, and there's unfortunately no fix yet.
